Garam Masala

Garam Masala is a blend of aromatic spices used extensively in Indian cuisine. The word masala means 'spices' and garam means 'hot' but the garam masala blend is more warming than hot. There are many versions of garam masala but they all enhance your curry dishes with its warmth, sweetness and peppery taste. Garam masala is mostly added near the end of the cooking time so that it does not only seasons the dish but also enhance the aromas. It is used with a wide variety of meat, fish, chicken, beans, lentil and vegetable dishes. Add to the end of cooking time to your curries and use on its own to flavor leg of lamb, roast chicken, vegetable dishes and many more.
